AVID

Hall 7 Stand J21

Avid will be returning to IBC 2008, confirmed spokespeople include: Paul Glasgow, UK General Manager and Kirk Arnold – Executive Vice President of Customer Operations.

Cintel

Hall 7 Stand B18

International will be showing a number of exciting new features for its range of film scanners and image enhancement tools. Cintel will be showing a new, faster 4K workflow utilising a dataMill film scanner and DVS’ Clipster running at 5fps (frames per second). Plus for the first time in Europe, the "X-Speed" Digital servo system for the Millennium family of film scanners. There will also be some additional product announcements at the show.

Cooke Optics

Hall 11 Stand D10

Cooke will be showing the Cooke RED Set, a package of four, red-engraved, PL-mounted Cooke S4/i lenses consisting of a 50mm, 75mm, 100mm and 15-40mm CXX Zoom, with protective cover glass and rigid carry case. It will also demonstrate the /i dataLink, a small box that mounts easily to any camera and records the focus, zoom, iris settings and other pertinent data of each take, allowing the metadata to be passed on to post; and the industry favourite S4/i Prime lenses.

Digital Vision

Digital Vision provides innovative image restoration, enhancement, colour correction and data conforming systems that major movie studios, television networks and post-production facilities use to produce and enhance feature films, TV programs and commercials. At IBC 2008 they will be launching two new products and showing for the first time in Europe the latest version of the Film Master grading system.

Signiant

IPTV Zone, Stand IP201

Signiant will be demonstrating its Digital Media Distribution Management Suite (DMDMS). Signiant¹s digital media delivery solutions have been adopted by major international broadcasters and leading technology companies including NBC, Hulu, Current, BBC News, Five and BT.

SNS

SNS will be showcasing Evo, its innovative shared storage system; the Ellipse Enterprise 4-Gbps Fibre Channel HBA, which addresses the goal of integrating Mac systems into the corporate storage strategy; and the newest release of SANmp which enables computers to concurrently share massive amounts of data over high-speed Fibre and iSCSI Storage Networks.

TEKTRONIX

Tektronix will showcase the WFM and WVR series with a 3Gb/s Single Link Serial-Digital-Interface; the affordable and portable Tektronix WFM4000/5000 waveform monitors and WVR4000/5000 rasterizers; the award-winning PQA500 picture quality analyser; the MTM400A MPEG Transport Stream Monitor with a powerful new FlexVuPlus user interface; and Cerify, the world¹s first fully automated system capable of verifying the quality of file-based, compressed digital video and audio content prior to transmission or use.

Tektronix will also have news at the show regarding 3Gbs (‘3 gig’) technology and GPS for synchronisation.
